Helping you find home
after losing the people and things in life that mattered most.
Our message is simple and our heart is sad too. Life after loss is a challenge, but much like a home that must be built new because of natural disaster, this is not a journey you have to walk alone. Life looks different now with your loved one gone, but what if all hope is NOT lost?! Join our community and online courses TODAY!!
The path out of suffering: “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect (mature), establish, strengthen and settle you. To Him be the glory and dominion, forever and ever. Amen”
1 Peter 5: 10-11
I’m Anna Waters
and I started When Love Stays in 2012 when my late husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer at age thirty-six. Nine months pregnant and about to have our first baby. Life up that point, although not ideal, was pretty darn close.
A terminal disease diagnosis changed everything.
My faith in Jesus Christ has deepened over time,
Jesus shows up in the good times, and also in the hard!!
Can I trust His character? YES!
Can I have a grateful attitude like people in the Bible? YES!
“The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Many years and several losses later, I’m here to emphatically say, that God is good. God cares about you!!
God has your back!!
God favors you!!
God loves you!!
When the people and things in this world leave you, and you feel as though you have nothing left, God’s love stays.
Please join me as you walk your grief journey. Let me loan you my faith to show you just how much He cares about you, no matter what led you here. Let me share the comfort He has given me that I’ve learned from the terrible tragedies I’ve endured. Let me guide you to the scriptures that shed light on the depths of His goodness and love for you. Let me encourage you to see a different perspective, one filled with hope and joy after all the sadness and disappointment loss brings.
“There is beauty from ashes.”
